The Netherlands & Apeldoorn
With 160.000 inhabitants Apeldoorn is one of the major cities in the Netherlands located in the Veluwe National Park. Because of its green location you can find all sorts of beautiful nature in and around Apeldoorn such as forests, heathland (with flocks of sheep), little streams and even a small waterfall. Apeldoorn offers a perfect combination of city and nature. Even in the city centre there is lots of green in the streets, big parks and open spaces. In and around the city centre you’ll find lots of monumental buildings which give the city a sophisticated and elegant feel.
The most well-known touristic attraction is the Royal Palace ‘Het Loo’, the former summer residence for the royal family. In 1984, it was converted into a magnificent museum. The palace’s decorations and the gardens are absolutely stunning and worth a visit.
Hope to welcome you soon at FSG Campus!
